Membership

If you enjoy the Book of Years, please consider supporting the site by becoming a member. Not only will you get access to exclusive stories, but you'll be helping to finance further writing.

Life membership is just $10. There are no annual fees, subscription dates, or any other limits. Once you've paid, you get full access to the members site forever.

Benefits of membership include :

• At least half the stories on the Book of Years website will always be exclusive to the members area.
• All stories on the website will be made available to members before the general public. (With the obvious exception of the initial three public stories.)
• Members will from time to time get exclusive access to other material. Initially, a glossary of places, people, and gods is available. In the future, a timeline, maps, essays, story fragments, and works in progress will be added.

To join simply send $10 by PayPal to bookofyears@grahamrobinson.com. Please include your name, e-mail address (if different than your PayPal account), and preferred username and password. You should receive an e-mail within three working days to confirm that your account has been set up, or to let you know if we're having any problems.

Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully!

1. Membership of the Book of Years website entitles the member to access the members area, which will include exclusive access to at least half the stories on the website, plus sundry other material.

2. Membership is for life and is not transferable.

3. Members are responsible for the security of their password, which must not be given to any other person.

4. Material in the members area is copyrighted, and not to be redistributed by any means, except as allowed by the usual legal meaning of "fair use". Examples of "fair use" include reproducing brief excerpts for the purposes of discussion or review, and printing a copy of a story for strictly personal use.

5. Breach of these terms and conditions may result in immediate suspension of the membership, at the sole discretion of representatives of the Book of Years website.

6. In the event that the Book of Years website is closed for any reason, members will be entitled to a refund equal to the full amount of their membership, less 10% for each full two months membership which they have already received, with a minimum payment of $1.00. For this purpose only, the date of closure will be deemed to be the date on which the last material was uploaded to the members area prior to the website closing.
